- Cuisine was at best poor. Food was lacking flavor and was barely warm at all restaurants. The easy package liquor is not drinkable and very poor quality.
Entertainment was ok but repetitive. Acrobats and Salsa dancers best part of performances.
Fitness/wellness My girlfriend and I went into the Spa area to check out the gym. We were then confronted by a woman who told us we had to leave due to our shoes. We had on Echo shoes with soles similar to workout shoes. I left and returned the next day to work out. Upon arrival I noticed other patrons in the gym doing the same as I was the previous night. These patrons were in cowboy boots and dress shoes. No one said a word to them or made them leave. I talked to the trainer on duty about this and he apologized. The staff is very friendly and do their best to accommodate although the appear tired and overworked.

- Comments about MSC Cruises
- Appears to be a little confusion concerning shore excursions and free time before or after the paid for excursion. We told several different rules or stories during the booking process and cruise. I hade two meetings with onboard supervisors and they were all aware that the rules regarding passengers disembarking for shore excursions changed 4 weeks before the cruise. I find this funny because the excursion desk told us this was just changed the week before the cruise. I assume you guys do this for the extra shore excursion fees by telling people they are not allowed to leave ship during port calls.
Questions about seascanner.com
- This was the first cruise that I booked over the internet:
- yes
- How satisfied are you with your travel agency seascanner.com?
- Would you recommend seascanner.com?
- no
- Comments about the service of seascanner.com
- We booked are cruise on line. We searched through google Seascanner was the top company on the search. We choose this because you were first and originally everything was in english. Once we completed original booking the information and received our booking number this is when the problems started. We began receiving emails about the cruise in German.
We called and asked for these to be sent in english. We were told no as this cruise was booked in the German Market. Not sure how we got there but. really not my problem. I was then told to use Google translate to translate the numerous PDF's and emails. During one of my calls I was also told to go on the US site and enter my booking number and documents would come up there in english. Not the case as you probably already know. We were told as we got closer to the cruise our boarding documents would be in english. They did arrive 3 days before the cruise in english. I just think this is terrible customer service. To spend two thousand euros on a cruise and tell a customer it is your fault you booked on the German Market and you need to translate all the documents. I am sorry if this is German customer service it is very poor. I would really like to speak with someone in a real management position at your company to discuss the numerous road blocks we were presented with by your company.
Last thing I will add, we also called and asked your agents about disembarking at various ports of call. We were told you could only get off the ship if you booked an excursion. We all know now that rule changed 4 weeks ago for Greece at the least. There were only two excursions left for us to book before we took off for Venice. What are the odds of the most expensive excursion package being the only one left for us to book? Once we arrive on the ship the desk for shore excursions is 20 people deep for the first day of the cruise. So as we all know now there were more excursions available. There is something really wrong here and as I told the supervisors on the ship this is incompetence or an intentional money making scheme. Look forward to hearing from someone concerning this cruise.

Ship overall:
- There was a bad sewage smell at times. Long wait for drinks and coffee. No mint on board for advertised cocktails.
- This was worst cruise we went so far. Food was disaster (cold scramble eggs on breakfast, etc), organisation on ship was a disaster too (stateroom attendant entering cabin at 10pm without even knocking, etc). Like it is hard to find a single positive thing regarding that ship....
- In food if more variety and other cusines can be added
- it was good, only restaurants was overcrouded.
- Poolside bar service, Found most staff very unattentive to queues, I understand that they work long hours and are tired however most of the servers did not even 'look-up' to see who should be served, and just randomly served the person in front of them, which is very annoying when you have stood pat...
- The free coffee that was offered was cold .
- good
- Elevators out of order, very crowded, waiting time 10+ minutes.
- Rough weather prevented us from disembarking in Pomene
- It was beautiful ship and we hope to go on it again.
