- As I said on the ship at service desk on the last day of the cruise, we were deeply disappointed by the problems we had in our cabin (my complaint is also in a system - room 12047). As you know, on most days of the cruise the ship had problems with the toilets not flushing.
In our cabin, the problems were even worse, because in addition to the toilet not swallowing water, dirty water also flowed out of the toilet into the bathroom onto the floor, so the whole bathroom was also unusable at the time of the malfunction (up to 3 hours).
This happened to us on 26.9. in Izmir, 27.9. in Istanbul, 29.9. in Corfu and 2.10. in Trieste.
All these days, all of us who were in the cabin (4 people, including one lady) had to find a free and working toilet somewhere on the ship (either by the pools or downstairs by the bars) as soon as we woke up in the morning. Many public toilets are either broken (out of service) or very dirty (I am attaching some pictures).
All these days all mornings, we could not use the bathroom (because there was a flood of dirty water in it) and the toilet in our cabin. Unfortunately, the lady was having her menstrual days these days and she couldn't get ready (take a shower) before getting dressed.
Since we were not all of one family in the cabin, we always used the bathroom to change our clothes. On the days when the bathroom was flooded, we couldn't even dressed properly and get ready to go to breakfast and go out into town. Not to mention that we had to change from our pajamas to a dress if we wanted to go to the pubic toilet in the morning.
I kept the reception staff informed of all problems every day. They always said they would fix the problem and it would be gone the next day. Even when I wanted them to move us to another cabin, they said that the problems have now been resolved. But then it happened again the next day. The last day men at service desk said to me that he is sorry but such things happen because the ship is old. This is unacceptable. It's like saying a ship can sink because it's old.
